Switching to a view as a data source in SAS® Visual Forecasting might result in the error “This table "library.tablename" contains no rows of data”


Generally, SAS supports using a view of data tables. In SAS Visual Forecasting, if you create your project with a data set and then switch the input source to a view of a data set, the following error message might occur:

Error Code: 409 This table "library.tablename" contains no rows of data.

This issue does not appear to occur if you switch to a data set from a view or create a project with a view.

A fix for this issue is planned for a future software release.
