The data selection of a claim or call center claim cannot be created after a migration from SAS® Quality Analytic Suite 6.3 products


After you migrate SAS® Migration Utility to SAS Quality Analytic Suite 6.31—which includes SAS® Field Quality Analytics, SAS® Production Quality Analytics, and SAS® Asset Performance Analytics—a stored data selection might not run or never complete.

The problem occurs because of insufficient permissions to the <DIMS_AS_OF> folder in the <SAS Install>/config/Lev1/AppData/SASQualityAnalyticSuite/WRNAFDL path and its objects. 

To circumvent this issue, ensure that you set full permissions for the installer in any DIMS_AS_OF subdirectories in WRNAFDL. These permissions are particularly relevant when the installer ID for the migration is not the same user ID as the installer ID for the original (pre-migration) install. Changing the permissions of the WRNAFDL folder listed above to 777 allows the data selections to complete successfully.
