After you complete the UpdateInstructions.html to remove the retired SAS^® Customer Intelligence products, post upgrade in place to SAS 9.4M8 with SAS Real-Time Decision Manager (or SAS Real-Time Decision Manager Run-Time), the SAS^® Decision Services data component fails to unconfigure. This issue occurs only if you did not unconfigure the retired products prior to upgrading in place to SAS 9.4M8.

SAS^® Deployment Manager fails at the SAS Decision Services DATA step. You need to click Stop to stop SAS Deployment Manager at that point.

Clicking Stop leaves the SAS Decision Services data objects in the metadata. However, the presence of these SAS Decision Services data objects in the metadata do not cause any harm because the configuration files at this point have been cleaned up by the unconfigure task (even though it resulted in an error).
